English translation

5700. It was narrated that Zaid bin Jubair said: “I asked Ibn ‘Umar about drinks and he said: ‘Avoid everything that intoxicates.’” (Sahih)

5697 - أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، عَنِ الْأَشْرِبَةِ، فَقَالَ: «اجْتَنِبْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ يَنِشُّ»
