English translation

5753. It was narrated that Ibn Shubrumah said: "May Allâh have mercy on Ibrâhîm. Other scholars had strict views on Nabîdh but he was lenient." (Sahih)

Arabic text

5750 - أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ شُبْرُمَةَ، قَالَ: رَحِمَ اللَّهُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ «شَدَّدَ النَّاسُ فِي النَّبِيذِ، وَرَخَّصَ فِيهِ»
