English translation

1845. It was narrated from Anas that Fâtimah wept for the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ when he died. She said: "O my father, how close he is now to his Lord! O my father, we announce the news (of his death) to Jibrîl! O my father, Jannat Al-Firdaws is now his abode!" (Sahih)

Commentary

Crying loudly is something different, and speaking well while weeping is something else. The former is forbidden; the latter is desirable, and it is proven from the excellent example of the Prophet ﷺ himself.
