English translation

1898. It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Prophet ﷺ was shrouded in three white Suhûl[1] garments." (Sahîh)

Arabic text

١٨٩٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا ‌إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا ‌عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ ‌الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ ‌عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ ‌عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «كُفِّنَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ سَحُولِيَّةٍ بِيضٍ».
