1974. It was narrated that Abû Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ announced the death of An-Najâshî to his Companions in Al-Madînah, so they formed rows behind him and he offered the funeral prayer for him, saying the Takbîr four times." (Sahîh) Abû 'Abdur-Rahmân (An-Nasâ'î) said: I did not understand "Ibn Al-Musayyab" as I wanted to.[1]
1972 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: «نَعَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّجَاشِيَّ لِأَصْحَابِهِ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ، وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعًا» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: «ابْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ إِنِّي لَمْ أَفْهَمْهُ كَمَا أَرَدْتَ»
