English translation

1976. It was narrated that Jâbir said: "I was in the second row on the day the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for An-Najâshî." (Sahîh)

Arabic text

1974 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ، يَقُولُ: ـ السَّاعَةَ يَخْرُجُ السَّاعَةَ يَخْرُجُ ـ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: «كُنْتُ فِي الصَّفِّ الثَّانِي يَوْمَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ»

    [1] Who was one of the two who narrated it from Abâ Hurairah. And the meaning is that when it was narrated to An-Nasâ'î, he did not hear it clearly or was not sure that his Shaikh said "Ibn Al-Musayyab."
