English translation

2157. Hisām reported from Qatādah, from Anas, that Zaid bin Thābit said: "We took Sahūr with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ then we went to pray." I said: "How long was there between them?" He said: "As long as it takes a man to recite fifty verses." (Sahīh)

Commentary

For a serene recitation of fifty Verses of the Glorious Qur'ān, ten minutes, at the most, should be enough. And Allāh knows best.
