2763. It was narrated that Jâbir said: "Asmâ' bint 'Umais gave birth to Muḥammad bin Abî Bakr and she sent word to the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ asking him what she should do. He told her to perform Ghusl and wrap her private parts in a cloth, and to begin the Talbiyah.(Saḥīḥ)
2762 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: نَفَسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، تَسْأَلُهُ كَيْفَ تَفْعَلُ؟ «فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ، وَتَسْتَثْفِرَ بِثَوْبِهَا، وَتُهِلَّ»
