English translation
2986. Jâbir narrated that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ came down from As-Safâ until he reached level ground in the valley, then he hastened (Raml) until (the ground) rose, then he walked. (Sahih)

2983 - أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، نَزَلَ يَعْنِي عَنِ الصَّفَا حَتَّى إِذَا انْصَبَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي الْوَادِي، رَمَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا صَعِدَ مَشَى»
