English translation

3163. It was narrated from Abû Hurairah that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "The martyr does not feel the pain of being killed, except as any one of you feels a pinch." (Da'if)

Arabic text

3161 - أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الشَّهِيدُ لَا يَجِدُ مَسَّ الْقَتْلِ إِلَّا كَمَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُكُمُ الْقَرْصَةَ يُقْرَصُهَا»

Commentary

The pleasure of martyrdom and the intensity of Faith is stronger than any pain for the martyr.
