English translation
3834. It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'A vow does not bring anything forward or put it back; it is just a means of taking wealth from the miserly.'" (Sahih)

3803 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «النَّذْرُ لَا يُقَدِّمُ شَيْئًا وَلَا يُؤَخِّرُهُ، إِنَّمَا هُوَ شَيْءٌ يُسْتَخْرَجُ بِهِ مِنَ الشَّحِيحِ»
