English translation

396. Abû Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'None of you should perform Ghusl in standing water while he is Junub.'" (Sahîh)

Arabic text

396 - أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ الْأَشَجِّ، أَنَّ أَبَا السَّائِبِ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَغْتَسِلْ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الْمَاءِ الدَّائِمِ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ»
