English translation

4092. It was narrated that 'Abdullâh bin 'Amr said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: 'Whoever is killed defending his wealth, he is a martyr.'" (Sahih)

Arabic text

4087 - أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْهُذَيْلِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُعَيْرُ بْنُ الْخِمْسِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ»
