English translation
437. It was narrated that 'Ali, may AUgh be pleased with him, said: "I was a man who emitted a ereat deal of Ma& I told a man to ask the Prophet @ (about that) and he said: 'Wudi' (is required) for that." (Sahib)

436 - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبِيدَةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً فَأَمَرْتُ رَجُلًا، فَسَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: «فِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ»

Commentary
In the upcoming two Āhādīth, the disciple of Sulayman Al-A'amash narrates the chain that precedes Sulayman differently. But this does not mean that this narration is Mudtarab or one of the chains is wrong. On the contrary, both are sound.
