English translation

4924. It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The hand of the thief is to be cut off for one-quarter of a Dīnār or more." (Sahih)

Arabic text

4920 - أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «تُقْطَعُ الْيَدُ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا»
