English translation
4925. It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ" — (one of the narrators) Qutaibah said —: 'Used to cut off the hand of the thief for one-quarter of a Dînâr or more.” (Šāḥīh)

4921 - أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَقُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْطَعُ فِي رُبْعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا»
