English translation

5144. It was narrated that Thawbān said: "The daughter of Hubairah came to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and on her hand were large gold rings." — a similar report. (Saḥīḥ)

Arabic text

5141 - أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الْبَلْخِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ قَالَ: جَاءَتْ بِنْتُ هُبَيْرَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَفِي يَدِهَا فَتَخٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ، أَيْ خَوَاتِيمُ ضِخَامٌ نَحْوَهُ
