English translation

5186. It was narrated that 'Alî said: "The Prophet ﷺ forbade me from Al-Qassī, silk, gold rings, and that I recite Qur'an while bowing." Hishām contradicted him, he did not narrate it in Marfū' form. (Sahīh)

Arabic text

5183 - أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، عَنْ أَشْعَثَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: «نَهَانِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ، وَالْحَرِيرِ، وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ، وَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ رَاكِعًا» خَالَفَهُ هِشَامٌ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ "
