English translation

5251. It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ cursed the woman who affixes hair extensions. (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Arabic text

5249 - أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَنَ الْوَاصِلَةَ»

Commentary

‘Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ cursed’ means he informed that a person who does this is cursed. See also No. 5098.
