5487. It was narrated from Abū Sa'eed Al-Khudrī that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to say: "A'ūdhu billāhi minal-kufri wal-fagr. (O Allāh, I seek refuge with You from Kufr and poverty.)" A man said: "Are they equal?" He said: "Yes." (Da'if)
5485 - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَبِي السَّمْحِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ» فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: وَيَعْدِلَانِ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ»
