English translation

5505. Anas bin Mâlik said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said to Abû Talhah: 'Find me one of your boys to serve me.' Abû Ṭalḥah brought me out, riding behind him, and I served the Prophet ﷺ every time he stopped (on his journey). And I often heard him say: 'Allāhumma, innī a'ūduhu bika min al-harami, wal-huzni, wal-'ajzi, wal-kasali, wal-bukhli, wal-jubni, wa ḍala'id-dain, wa ghalabatir-rijāl (O Allāh, I seek refuge in You from old age, grief, incapacity, laziness, miserliness, cowardice, the burden of debt and being overpowered by men.)''' (Ṣaḥīḥ)
