English translation
5620. It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade Al-Hantam. I (the narrator) said: "What is Al-Hantam?" He said: "The earthenware jar." (Sahih)

5617 - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنِ الْحَنْتَمِ» قُلْتُ: مَا الْحَنْتَمُ؟، قَالَ: «الْجَرُّ»
