English translation

5637. Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ forbade Ad-Dubbâ' (gourds), Al-Hantam and Al-Muzaffat." (Sahîh)

Arabic text

٥٦٣٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا ‌سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا ‌عَبْدُ اللهِ ، عَنْ ‌شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ ‌مُحَارِبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ‌ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ، وَالْحَنْتَمِ، وَالْمُزَفَّتِ».
