English translation

855. It was narrated from Abû Al-Malîh that his father said: "We were with the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ in Hunain and it rained. The caller of the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ called out, telling us: 'Pray where you are.'" (Sahih)

Arabic text

٨٥٤ - أَخْبَرَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ ‌قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِيهِ قَالَ: «كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحُنَيْنٍ، فَأَصَابَنَا مَطَرٌ، فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ».
