English translation

From Ibn Masʿūd (raḍiyallāhu ʿanhu) who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallallāhu ʿalayhi wasallam) said, "The blood of a Muslim who testifies none has the right to be worshipped (in truth) but Allāh and that I am the Messenger of Allāh is not taken lawfully except in one of three: The adulterer, a life for life and the one who abandons his religion and separates from the jamāʿah (of the Muslims)."
