1079. (Another chain) Abū Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The believer's soul is suspended by his debt until it is settled for him." (Hasan) Abū 'Eisā said: This Hadīth is Hasan and it is more correct than the first (no. 1078).
١٠٧٩ - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؛ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «نَفْسُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِدَيْنِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى عَنْهُ». هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِ.
