Commentary

In Sahih Al-Bukhārī and Sahih Muslim, the banquet has been explained and made clear. If someone marries a woman of his choice, it is a matter of pleasure and delight. For this reason one should be thankful to Allāh ﷻ and for the sake of expressing one's happiness, one should invite the relatives and friends to eat food.
