English translation

1764. Umm Salamah said: "The most loved garment to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ was the Qamīṣ (long shirt)." (Hasan)

Arabic text

١٧٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ‌الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ الْمُؤْمِنِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ ‌أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ «كَانَ أَحَبَّ الثِّيَابِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْقَمِيصُ.»
