1918. Sahl bin Sa'd narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "I and the sponsor of an orphan shall be in Paradise like these two." And he indicated with his fingers, meaning his index and his middle finger. (Sahih) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Sahih.
١٩١٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ الْمَكِّيُّ الْقُرَشِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَا وَكَافِلُ» الْيَتِيمِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ كَهَاتَيْنِ. وَأَشَارَ بِأُصْبُعَيْهِ، يَعْنِي السَّبَّابَةَ وَالْوُسْطَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.

The Hadīth in Sahih Al-Bukhārī reports the Prophet ﷺ as saying: "The one who looks after an orphan (from whatever parentage) will be like this in Paradise," showing his middle and index fingers and separating them.
