English translation

1936. Sālim narrated from his father who said that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "There is to be no envy except for two: A man to whom Allāh grants wealth and he spends from it during the hours of the night and the hours of the day. And, a man to whom Allāh grants (memorization of) the Qur'ān so he stands with it (in prayer) during the hours of the night and the hours of the day." (Sāhīh) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Sāhīh. Similar to this has been reported from Ibn Mas'ūd and Abū Hurairah from the Prophet ﷺ.
