English translation
2050. Anas narrated: “The Prophet ﷺ cauterized As’ad bin Zurārah for Shawkah.”[1] (Ṣaḥīḥ) [Abū ‘Eisā said:] There are narrations on this topic from Ubayy and Jābir. This Ḥadīth is Ḥasan Gharīb.

٢٠٥٠ - حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَوَى» أَسْعَدَ بْنَ زُرَارَةَ مِنَ الشَّوْكَةِ. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أُبَيٍّ، وَجَابِرٍ. وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.
