English translation

223. Buraidah Al-Aslamī narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Give glad tiding to those who walk to the Masājid in the dark; of a complete light on the Day of Resurrection." (Sahīh) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Ḥadīth is Gharīb [from this route in Marfū' form, it is Sahīh with chains that are Mawqūf to the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, but not a chain to the Prophet ﷺ].

٢٢٣ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبَّاسٌ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌يَحْيَى بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، عَنْ ‌إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْكَحَّالِ، عَنْ ‌عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الْخُزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ ‌بُرَيْدَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «بَشِّرِ الْمَشَّائِينَ فِي الظُّلَمِ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ بِالنُّورِ التَّامِّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ». هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ.
