English translation

2345. Abū Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The poor Muslims are admitted into Paradise before their rich by half a day. And that is five hundred years." (Ḥasan) This Ḥadīth is [Ḥasan] Ṣaḥīḥ.

Arabic text

٢٣٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، عَنْ ‌مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ ‌أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ بِنِصْفِ يَوْمٍ وَهُوَ خَمْسُ مِائَةِ عَامٍ» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
