255. Sālim narrated from his father (Ibn 'Umar) who said: "I saw Allāh's Messenger ﷺ, when he opened the Ṣalāt, raising his hands to the level of his shoulders; and (again) when he bowed, and when he raised his head from bowing." In his narration, Ibn Abī 'Umar added: "And he would not raise them between the two prostrations." (Ṣaḥīḥ)
٢٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ،» وَإِذَا رَكَعَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنَ الرُّكُوعِ، وَزَادَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: وَكَانَ لَا يَرْفَعُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ.
