English translation

2570. Abū Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said similar to it, except that he said, “uncover a mountain of gold.” (Sahih) [Abū ‘Eisā said:] This Hadith is [Hasan] Sahih.

Arabic text

٢٥٧٠ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الْأَشَجُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عُبَيْدُ اللهِ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ ‌الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «يَحْسِرُ» عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
