English translation

2620. Jābir narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Between a slave (of Allāh) and disbelief is abandoning the Ṣalāt." (Ṣaḥīḥ) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Ḥadīth is Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ. Abū Az-Zubair's (a narrator in the chain) name is Muḥammad bin Muslim bin Tadrus.

٢٦٢٠ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌هَنَّادٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ ‌سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ ‌جَابِرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «بَيْنَ الْعَبْدِ وَبَيْنَ الْكُفْرِ تَرْكُ الصَّلَاةِ». هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَأَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ اسْمُهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ تَدْرُسَ.
