263. (Another similar narration) This Ḥadīth has been narrated from Hudhaifah from another route: "That he performed Ṣalāt during the night with the Prophet ﷺ" and he mentioned the Ḥadīth. (Ṣahīh)

٢٦٣ - وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ نَحْوَهُ. وَقَدْ رُوِيَ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.

Commentary
It is proven from this Ḥadīth that a person may say the words of glory, make requests and seek refuge according to the subject of the Verses, while reciting in the prayer.
