English translation
2763. Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Trim the moustache and leave the beard to grow." (Saḥīh) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Ḥadīth is Saḥīh.

٢٧٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «احْفُوا» الشَّوَارِبَ وَاعْفُوا اللِّحَى. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ.
