English translation

2926. 'Atīyyah narrated from Abū Sa'eed, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The Lord, Blessed and Most High is He, has said: 'Whoever is too busy with the Qur'an for remembering Me and asking Me, then I shall give him more than what I give to those who ask.' And the virtue of Allāh's Speech over the speech of others is like the virtue of Allāh over His creation." (Da'if) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Gharib.

Commentary

The person who has dedication and relation with the Words of Allāh to the extent that he is engaged out of sincerity and with undivided attention, by day and night, in its recitation, memorization, reflecting and contemplating on it, learning and teaching it, preaching and spreading it, due to this permanent busy commitment, he does not get the opportunity for Allāh's remembrance, glory and praise or to beg of Allāh anything for himself; Allāh grants him better than those who beg of Him. In the Name of Allāh,the Merciful, the Beneficent
