English translation

(3). 3088. ‘Alī said: “I asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ about the day of Al-Hajj Al-Akbar, and he said: 'The day of An-Nahr.'" (Šahīh)

Arabic text

٣٠٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبِي ، عَنْ ‌أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ ‌مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ ‌الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ ‌عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: «سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَوْمِ الْحَجِّ» الْأَكْبَرِ، فَقَالَ: يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ.
