3485. Anas narrated that the Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate, saying: “O Allāh, indeed, I seek refuge in You from laziness, weakness of old age, cowardice, stinginess, the trial of Al-Masīh, and the punishment of the grave (Allāhumma Innī A’ūdhu Bika Minal-Kasali Wal-Harami Wal-Jubni) Wal-Bukhli Wa Fitnatil-Masīh Wa 'Adhābil-Qabr). (Sahīh) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Sahīh.
٣٤٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - «كَانَ يَدْعُو يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْهَرَمِ»، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
