English translation

3525. Anas narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Be constant with: 'O Possessor of Majesty and Honor (Yā Dhal-Jalāli Wal-Ikrām).'" (Sahīh) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Gharīb and it is not preserved. And this is only narrated from Hammād bin Salamah, from Ĥumaid, from Al-Ḥasan Al-Baṣrī from the Prophet ﷺ. And this is more correct. And Mu'ammal erred in it, saying, "[From Ḥammād,] from Ḥumaid, from Anas." And he is not corroborated in that.

٣٥٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌الْمُؤَمَّلُ ، عَنْ ‌حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ‌حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنْ ‌أَنَسٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ: «أَلِظُّوا» بِيَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ وَلَيْسَ بِمَحْفُوظٍ، وَإِنَّمَا يُرْوَى هَذَا عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ، وَمُؤَمَّلٌ غَلِطَ فِيهِ، فَقَالَ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، وَلَا يُتَابَعُ فِيهِ.
