3572. Zaid bin Arqam [may Allāh be pleased with him] said that the Prophet ﷺ used to say: "O Allāh, indeed I seek refuge in You from laziness, helpless old age, and stinginess (Allāhumma Innī A'ūdhu Bika Minal-Kasali Wal-'Ajzi Wal-Bukhl). " And with this chain, from the Prophet ﷺ, that he used to seek refuge from senility and the punishment of the grave. (Sahih) [Abū 'Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Ḥasan Ṣahīh.
٣٥٧٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْبُخْلِ». ٣٥٧٢ (م) - وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ «كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْهَرَمِ» وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ.
