3652. Ibn 'Abbās said: "The Prophet ﷺ stayed in Makkah for thirteen years – meaning while he was receiving Revelation – and he died when he was sixty-three years old." (Ṣaḥīḥ) [Abū 'Eisā said:] There are narrations on this topic from 'Aishah, Anas bin Mālik, and Daghfal bin Hanzalah. It is not verified that Daghfal heard from the Prophet ﷺ [nor saw him]. The Hadīth of Ibn 'Abbās is Hasan Gharīb as a narration of 'Amr bin Dīnār.
٣٦٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «مَكَثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ» ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ، يَعْنِي يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ، وَتُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً. وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، وَأَنَسٍ، وَدَغْفَلِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ، وَلَا يَصِحُّ لِدَغْفَلٍ سَمَاعٌ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ.
