English translation

3783. Al-Barā’ bin ‘Āzib said: “I saw the Prophet ﷺ placing Al-Hasan bin ‘Alī upon his shoulder while saying: ‘O Allāh, I love him, so love him.’” (Sahīh) [Abū ‘Eisā said:] This Hadīth is Hasan Šahīh. [And it is more correct than the narration of Al-Fuḏail bin Marzūq (no. 3783).]

٣٧٨٣ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ ‌عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ‌الْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ يَقُولُ: «رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاضِعًا الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ» عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ. هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ، وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ.
