English translation

39. Ibn 'Abbās narrated that Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said: "When performing Wudū' go between the fingers of your hands and (toes of) your feet." (Hasan) Abū 'Eisā said: This Hadīth is Hasan Gharīb.

Arabic text

٣٩ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ ‌مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ ‌صَالِحٍ مَوْلَى التَّوْأَمَةِ، عَنِ ‌ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَخَلِّلْ بَيْنَ أَصَابِعِ يَدَيْكَ وَرِجْلَيْكَ». هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.
