Commentary

Food supply for the people of Al-Madinah was from the Yemen. Better relationship and better understanding with the people of Yemen means more trade with them, and more chances of inviting them to embrace Islam. The people of Yemen are hard working, honest and intelligent, so the Prophet ﷺ supplicated for them.
