English translation

430. Ibn 'Umar narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "May Allāh have mercy upon a man who prays four before Al-'Aṣr." (Hasan) Abū 'Eisā said: This Hadīth is Hasan Gharīb.

Arabic text

٤٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى ‌وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ‌وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ‌وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ سَمِعَ ‌جَدَّهُ عَنِ ‌ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «رَحِمَ اللهُ امْرَأً صَلَّى قَبْلَ الْعَصْرِ أَرْبَعًا» هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ.
