English translation

573. Abū Hurairah narrated: "We prostrated with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ in: 'Read! In the Name of your Lord' and 'When the heaven is split asunder.'" (Sahīh)

Arabic text

٥٧٣ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ ‌أَيُّوبَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، عَنْ ‌عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءٍ ، عَنْ ‌أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: «سَجَدْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي {اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ} وَ {إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ}».
