Text and translation

English translation

801. Al-Ḥasan bin ‘Alī narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “The gift for the fasting person is (fragrant) oil and a censer.”[1] (Ḍa’īf) Abū ‘Eisā said: This Hadīth is Gharīb, its chain is not strong and we do not know of it except as a narration of Sa’d bin Ṭarīf. Sa’d (bin Ṭarīf) was graded weak, and they call (one of the narrators ‘Umair bin Ma’mūn) ‘Umair bin Ma’mūn as well.
